These full day seminars are designed for the multidisciplinary team and will provide clinical information regarding indication and timing of tracheostomy in children and adults and the impact on function and development, including communication and oral feeding.

Webinar Self-Study Courses
We currently offer a comprehensive selection of web-based self-study webinars that cover basic and advanced concepts for Passy-Muir® Valve assessment and application. Prior to scheduling an on-site visit at your facility, we encourage your team to complete one or more core webinars. These webinars provide a baseline level of knowledge so that your team can take advantage of the more advanced education provided during an on-site visit.

If you have taken our webinar self study courses and would like to have your entire multidisciplinary team receive the information provided in the webinars, then one of our clinical specialists can schedule and host a live group webinar for your facility. These group webinars are tailored to meet the individual needs of your facility and ventilators. Live interaction with the Passy-Muir presenter provides the opportunity for question and answers and facilitates team-building and competency development for your group.

After completion of webinars, an on-site visit can be scheduled with one of our Passy-Muir Clinical Specialists or Consultants who are respiratory therapists and speech-language pathologists with extensive clinical experience utilizing the Passy-Muir Valve. Our specialists can connect a simulation mannequin to one of your facility’s ventilators to demonstrate the principles of in-line valve assessment and application and then provide verbal instruction at the bedside for valve placements with patients.
